Job Description:
Gujarat Public Service Commission(GPSC) invites application for recruitment of Class I & Class II officer. Interested Candidates may apply through website of Gujarat Public Service Commission(GPSC)  from 10th June, 2014. More detailed information of Recruitment 2014 is mentioned below.

Pay Scale / Salary: For class-I is Rs.15,600-39,400 ( Grade pay- Rs. 5,400).

Job Title: Deputy Police Officer, Gujarat Administrative Service, District Registrar.

Pay Scale / Salary: For class-II is Rs.9,300-34,800 ( Grade pay- Rs. 4,600).

Job Title: Mamlatdar, Section Officer, Assistant District Registrar, Assistant Director Food, Taluka development officer, Government Labour Officer.

Educational Qualification: 

(A) Possess a bachelor degree of a recognized University or its equivalent qualification recognized by the Government of Gujarat. 

(B) Adequate knowledge of Gujarati and Hindi.

Age Limit: Candidates age should not be more than 35 years as on 30/06/2014. Age Relaxation will be applicable as per govt norms.

How to Apply: Candidates can apply through the website by 10th June, 2014. The hard copy of the application along with photocopies of testimonials should  registered office of GPSC.

Selection Procedure: Preliminary Examination (Screening Test) : The Preliminary Examination (Screening Test), to be conducted by the GPSC with descriptive test and followed by interview.

However, the Marks obtained in the Preliminary Examination, shall not be taken into consideration, for preparing the Final Merit List of the Candidates.
