Job Description:

Gujarat University (GU) invites application for various post. Eligibility and other details and application format download from website of Gujarat University. Separate application form is to be submitted for each post. Application form and recruitment Rules will be available on the website of Gujarat University  from 12.06.2014.

Job Title: Registrar
Number of Vacancies: 01 posts
Salary: Rs.15600-39100+GP Rs.7600

Qualifications:

(A) Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks of its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale. 

Note: CCC+ is essential qualification as per Govt. of Gujarat Norms. 

Job Title:  Controller of Examination

Number of Vacancies: 01 posts
Salary: Rs.15600-39100+GP Rs.6600

Qualifications:

(A) Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks of its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale.

Note: CCC+ is essential qualification as per Govt. of Gujarat Norms.

 

Job Title: Librarian

Number of Vacancies: 02 posts
Salary: Rs.9300/-Rs.34800/- (GP Rs. 4200/-)

Qualifications:

(A) Master’s degree in library Science/Information Science/Documentation with at-least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC seven point scale and consistently good academic record.

Note: CCC+ is essential qualification as per Govt. of Gujarat Norms.

Age Limit:
A Candidate for appointment to the said post, shall not be less than 35 years and not more than 50 years of age, as on Advt. i.e. on 12/06/2014.

Candidates should have to Apply online mode by filling form and downloading it from below link. Completed form in all respect along with the self-attested certificates should be sent to the Office of the Registrar, Gujarat University, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad-380009 on or before 27.06.2014 by post or personally along with necessary self attested document. Application form duly filled in two copies along with necessary and a processing fee of Rs.350/- (Rs.100/- in case of SC/ST candidate) (Non Refundable) for each post by ‘A/c payee’ Bank Draft in favor of Registrar, Gujarat University Payable at Ahmedabad. The date of personal interview and shortlisted candidates will be declared on Gujarat University website in recruitment section.
